It's a pitched battle. Good wins, inevitably, because evil turns on itself.
Evil may win some battles but Good will win the war.

I think good does win in the end but it seems so often it is a long battle of evil getting its way and causing harm and destruction to lives before finally at a great cost good prevails.

In an ideal world, The Good will always overcome the obstacles set before it and win.
I think that, for the most part, the earth tends to balance itself out and the good usually ends up in perfect balance with its opposit.
But, unfortunately, in times of conflict and instability, the Good doesn't always come out on top. To think this gives us a false sense of hope and only sets us up for future disapointment.

not here on earth, but in the long run god will have his final say- his patience, allows people to get away with evil in hope they will turn around. sometimes he does step in with those whom show no hope of being redeemed. but in the end he actually has to finish his creation destroying it all, because man becomes so evil. the anti-christ will appear one day with the promise of world peace
and build a one world government. and will proclaim to be god. he will will even deceive the elite, but he will break contract and throw the world into a massive war like no-one has ever seen or heard of before. at that time oil and wheat will be expensive- so if thats written in the bible it tells me that mankind never finds a better solution for power resource. god steps in because mankind is about to make himself extinct. but the antichrist even trys to battle against the son of man and his legends of angels with his technological weapons but fail.
