No it's not, but it could have been a small piece. Your mucous plug is a huge chunk of jelly. It usually is pink or blood-tinged. Blood streaked through it. It's not white. More clear and gucky. Sorry for the gross descriptive words, but the morning I went into labour with my first child I had a bit of discharge and a tiny bit of blood..and I mean tiny, hardly noticable, haha, and I thought "oh there goes my mucous plug!" But I was wrong, I didn't lose it until later that night when a nurse gave me a rough internal and loosened it. When I saw the chunk in the toilet, then I knew that was it.
Thicker discharge like what you are eexperiencing is completely normal. It may even get more pronounced in the next couple weeks. It's called leukorrhea. It's completely normal.
Good luck and congrats on the pregnancy!

as icky because it sounds, it particularly is mild white, yellow, eco-friendly or each and all the above. purely like mucous. Dont freak out in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, it particularly is completely prevalent. some is often tinged w/slightly of blood. All very prevalent...you would be going into hard artwork everywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. sturdy success to you!!

If it looks like you blew your nose in the toilet then that's it. You don't have to go to the doctor though. My sister lost her mucos plug and didn't have her baby for a week. Almost there though! Good luck!!
