to prevent looking shiny? Right now I use mac, and I love the compact, because it matches my skin perfectly, but I need something that's going to stand up against this heat and humidity.

Use a mineral powder foundation. I use Arbonne's and l o v e it with a capital L but if you find it's to pricey perhaps a drug store brand would suffice. It's so nice and natural and won't "melt".

I would use a powder foundation, and avoid using liquid altogether in humidity.
