I got a watch that also gives you heart rate.

It was a promotional product in the U.K. offered by Special K from Kelloggs. If you cut out a certain amount of UPC symbols and sent them to Kelloggs along with $20 US, they would send you the watch. This offer was not available in North America. Luckily, some enterprising entrepreneurs started selling them on Ebay. I got mine, with shipping,
packaging and instructions for about $16 CAN, roughly 8 pounds sterling.

Wrist style heart monitor devices can be found in North America can be found for no less than $100 in Canada and require the user to wear a belt around their chest to transmit information.

Let's just say I was pleased with my purchase. Just yesterday I neglected to take my watch out of my jacket before I put it into the washing machine. When it came out of the washer, it looked like it was shot; but was still working as a heart rate monitor. However it had just changed it's settings and works perfectly today, even after it went through a full load of laundry in an industrial strength machine. No scratches either.

There's one for sale right now on Ebay.co.uk
No shipping out of UK however.
