It sounds like you have Asthma. This is not serious and can be controlled, once you are aware of it. You really need to see your doctor. Talk to your mum or dad.
It also means, that certain activities will be limited to you as your lungs are unable to expand.
Please, go talk to your Doc.

If you didn't lose some sight and have problems remembering the incident, I'd say you have asthma. But with asthma, people don't typically lose sight and have amnesia unless they are passing out. If it's not asthma, you possibly could have something wrong with your heart or lungs. Sometimes you can get inflammation surrounding the lungs. And you could have a defect in one of the arteries leading to your heart. Sometimes these things don't manifest when someone is real young but appears when they hit their teens or early twenties. Either way, you need to visit your Doctor to have this diagnosed right away. Asthma, lung disease and heart disease are potentially deadly so don't put this off, ok?
Good luck to you, I hope they find the cause.

Sounds like you either have asthma or an anxiety disorder. If it happens again take a medium small paper bag crunch up the top in one hand around your mouth - hold your nose - and breathe in and out of the bag many times. I know it seems silly but it helps relieve anxiety attacks.

If you have asthma then you must see a doctor. I have asthma and I get the same symptoms as you. A doctor might prescribe and inhaler for you.

I do this same thing also.
I have excersised induced asthma.
You need to see a doctor to be put on an inhaler to use 15 minutes before you excersise.

Also always remember before getting very active warm up first. Do some stretches and jumping jacks or mild brisk walking before running.

Good luck
