My name is Angelina and people also call me Angie. If we had a lil girl he thinks it would be very wierd cause thiers just to many of us with the letters ANG in our name, but I love the name Angelique.

I think your newest little girl would feel left out not having the Angel part in her name if she didn't. It would stick out.
You'll have to call her something to tell her from the rest of ya though hehe.

I think it's kinda cute actually a family of Angels...Too bad your Bf's name isn't Angelo.

Hmm....if you've always had your heart set on the name Angelique then I say who cares what anyone else thinks!?! Then again, if you can find another name that you like just as much it might be better to go along with that one as your daughters will not be impressed with both having the same nickname! (And people will shorten Angelique to Angie/Ang). Can you imagine the confusion!?
Angelique is a lovely name though - my neice is Angelique. Hope I haven't confused you even more! :-)

Angelique will also be called Angie. That's too many; he's right. Remember, it doesn't only matter how much you love the name. Hopefully, you want your daughter to like it too, and she won't like being yet another Angie.

I like it too. That's my daughter's name. My granddaughter's name is Angelina. She also has a cousin named Angel. Do I think that Angelique is too much? No. No one we meet or know thinks anything of it. perhaps the next granchild if it's a boy will be Angelo...just a thought! : )

What works for you and your family is what works for YOU and YOUR FAMILY.

Name your next girl whatever you want.
If that's what you choose, relax and enjoy your choice. I did!

Hope this helps!

yeah, there is too much Ang. use angelique as a middle name. after a while it doesn't get cute anymore it becomes annoying and confusing.

i have 4 sisters with the first name maria but a different middle name. we go by our middle names. but growing up it got confusing because dr. office, schools all went by maria.

I think its fine. It is your children. I think some people might think its a little weird, but onlny for like a minute or two. It will pass. If yor boyfriend doesnt like it, compromise. Like Dominique still has the -ique, but loses the angel-. Get what I mean? If your guys can get past a little wiedness, go for it. Its a name. Dont let too many people give ou negative criticism. Its your child. Good Luck and Congratulations!

He's right - there IS too many 'ang' in there, however, Angelique sounds like a queen and IS pretty! Good luck on this one!
