Wow...some of these people just don't know what "hypothetical" means, do they?

The world would be a most perfect place! Can you imagine, all of us as equals, no matter the color, race, nationality...it would be awesome! Just think, there would be no more idiots to put people down just because they feel inferior :)

It is hard to imagine since race is so engraned into our society. And also because lots of slavery is still going on today, even in our own country.

I think that we would have a lot more talented people in the world today if racism did not exist.

More children getting the same educational opportunities and more adults getting the same shot at employment opportunities.

The prison system would not be so corrupt or crowded.

There would be less violence from desperate, poor minorities trying to make ends meet by resorting to drug, gang and other criminal activities

given which you're asking extremely approximately slavery interior the context of colonialism (something maximum respondents have overlooked), it would ought to be racism that became first. As somebody else mentioned, thinking much less of others as people to start with. Hell, whilst the British colonised Australia, many did no longer think of of Aborigines as people for the main section, they have been purely inconvenient flowers and fauna.

Sadly, if race wasn't an issue people would choose something to separate people. Have you seen Hotel Rwanda? These are two groups of people who were separated by the width of their noses by the Dutch fighting a civil war.
Slavery is a very very broad topic that spans the history of mankind. Are you refering only to slavery in America or slavery in general? They would give very different answers

Oh i'm sure africa would be a very peaceful place without slavery. tribes would work together, not kill each other, put their differences aside.

racism could not be avoided unless we all had the same features and skin color. people will always want to live among their race no matter how much force you try push the issue. think about it, why is it right for one person to change the laws of a country? if he doesn't like the country then go back to his homeland.

I don't know if my ancestoer were ever slaves...I doubt they were. However, this question cannot be answered because you cannot change the past, you can only affect the future.

Slavery and racism exist, even today! The question is, "what are you going to do about it?". In my view, I choose to oppose all forms of racism, slavery, hate, strife, tyranny and evil.

Choose your side and be ready to deal with the consequences of making a choice!!!

Racism has existed since the Old Testament. Keep in mind that the Egyptians held the Hebrews in bondage for 400 years. It has existed since the dawn of time, and unfortunately, most likely will always continue to exist.

if rascism and slavery had not ever existed today we would be smarter and helthier as a planet, because capitalism would have never lifted off. i think socialism or communalsim would be the main ideas in society, being that it would be more humane. the knowledge of the earth especially in africa and south america would have never been destroyed. non of the presidents in america would be honored because they all supported and support some form of slavery ,deny ,or haven't acknowledged it existed. medicine in cuba would be widespread and most likely aids, smallpox of the 1900's atom, and H bomb would not have been easy to drop, and cops muredring blacks would be a rare thing like cops shooting white teen males. psychology and all sciences would benefit all people equally, money would not be an issue.

as for racism i think it goes back to a time when we were all running around in bear skins or b4.one tribe trying to survive needs food takes from other tribe type thing that tribe then dislikes the other for taking its food for instance.multiplied billions of times all over the world and with the advancement of man.an example of the top of my head man explores Africa his friend gets killed by natives .slavery comes about man sees black man in market to be sold.he is gonna automatically think about his friend and possibly make derogatory comment about black man[there you racism]times that by several billion different instances and we are now in the 21st century.and the hatred has built up on all sides.

in my opinion...

if slavery have not existed then...maybe
african americans (me) wouldnt like be as
strong as we are now its because of those
hardships our ancestors been put through
we are strong and can actually say we've come

culture it would be alot worse then it is now
people wont have that pride to keep going.but its life shyt happeneds learn from it
