The part of the computer that the power cord connects to (the hole with the little needle in the middle) seems to be loose. The needle part is loose and though I can plug the power cord into it, I have to jiggle the cord in order to have the Low Battery icon go away. The cord has to be pulled just right in order for the computer to have any power at all. Then, even when it says it is powered up, the battery is not charging...it is simply running off of the power cord.

Can anyone tell me if this can be repaired? Especially the loose needle.

Thanks!

The needle in the actual computer part where the cord hooks in is a bit loose. How can this be repaired? And by who?

Looking for that power cord on ebay could be a cheap option. Trying to repair that cord could be unsafe if done unappropriately.
