I accidently dropped my laptop its a sony vaio laptop pcg-v505 series notebook, and the screen broke and the audio is gone but everything else works great, also even the screen is broken but i can still see a little its just dark, anyway my question is i have tried the control panel and no audio device is available and i tried to download the audio from my cd but it wont accept so i was wondering is it expensive to fix the audio i dont care about the screen cuz im using another screen for now but i need to know about the audio is it hard to fix and is it pricey or not, thanks for your help.

If the screen is just dim and not cracked, it is very possible the inverter is either damaged or the inverter plug is loose.

it is most likely broken...... lol.. which you have already figured that out....... if you are still under warranty .... then no it won't be expensive to fix it..... but in order to fix it you will have to send it in to a laptop repair.... PREFERABLY in your case SONY.... so they can fix the problem..... and i'm not sure what the price will be...
