If you are into Euro Games (Settlers of Catan, Power Grid, etc.), there's a fabulous site called Brettspielwelt (http://www.brettspielwelt.de/?nation=en). Only catch is it is predominantly German. If you are only playing with your friend, you can learn the interface at your leisure. Most of the players there speak English, but have a short fuse when it comes to people learning the interface.
