Some of you are being a bit harsh in your judgments. There are a lot of morons coming in here and trying to spoil things, but there are some 'newbies' that just want to hang out like the rest of us do and have a laugh. Don't you think that tarring them with the same brush as the trolls is going too far?

I agree. Some "newbies" are just here to have fun like everyone else. But the people who just got here and feel it is their place to start reporting people, they deserve whatever criticism they get.

I'm not really a newbie, being as I have been using yahoo answers for a year now, but I am new(er) to p&s. I didn't know it was so much fun here. Usually, I just rile people's feathers in politics, but they just get really mean there. There's no middle ground. Thanks for defending the innocent.

I'm staying out of it. Some people have their panties in a twist obviously over things. I think it's retarded that all the questions are being made about "newbies" but I guess some people need to vent over things, so whatever.

As a newbie to this section I want to say thank you. So far I like it hear. I mean sure there are some people who are jerks in this section but that's all over Yahoo Answers.

If you're a troll, you will get yours sooner or later" then you are seeking to spark a response yourself, are you not? Which, correct me if I'm wrong, is slightly troll-ish. Yahoo has carefully laid out their terms of service. Who the heck died and left you in charge to enforce it?

Amen! Though I suppose if they're going to hang out in P&S they shouldn't let anybody's words bother them - one of the cool things about this category is anything goes and sarcasm is big.

well, I'm a "newbie" (not to Yahoo just to Y!A) and personally, I think all the crap the regulars talk about the newbies is rather amusing...keep up the good work, it keeps me laughing anyway
