Hi
The same thing happened with me too. In my case, orkut page was opening up but the text fields to enter user name and password were not displayed. I tried to launch the site on other web browsers like opera and firefox, but it did not worked. I ran a good antivirus program, it didnt helped too. At last i had to format my system to remove any virus, ad ware etc.
After this system worked smoothly.
You can also try an antivirus or format your PC.
Hope this helps!

Before answering ur question, tell me is the problem is with ur office PC?
If yes, then the network administrator have blocked this web page & thats why its not opening.
If no, then there might be problem with your antivirus software... which sometimes feel these webpage as spammers & block it. If this is the case, then in the settings of the aantivirus, just unclick ur web page security....
If not, then the problem could be with the web certificate.... I mean as this webmailers or website restore the cookies in the PC, they must be of secured connection & requires some sort of certificate..Many time while opening these website a security alert popup window appers. if you click no, then the webpage will not open...

Try other browsers to see if it's just explorer. If not, then you might have it all blocked in a firewall setting. If it is just explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Under Privace, select default, under advanced, selct default.
Those might help
