im a girl and im trying to learn to do a scremo voice as they need one in a band im in and i dont do anything else besides write lyrics. but every time i try it comes out like a whisper but its quite a good whisper lol anyone know any tips on how to learn or do you just think its impossible?

umm.. most of the screamo bands' vocalists are male.. they're damn good at screaming with tunes.. i think you should listen to them carefully and try to learn how to scream from their songs.. you should have a deep breath and try to consume anything that would help you in preserving your voice.. try honey and lime..

Actually after being in and out of bands you cant really train yourself. If you cant do it to begin with, then you cant do it. I have been trying for years to learn to scream, but I can't.

Yeah just get emotional and scream.... what more is there too it? Personally i think that crap is horrible.... there is way cooler stuff out there than "screamo"
