My prom dress is too plain? Anything i can do?

I don't want to spend so much money. But is there anything I can maybe add to the dress?

My dress is white and has a little bit silver on it. Its a halter.

I think it's not really a big prob. Having a plain dress is good coz i don't think you need a really glamorous dress! But this is the only thing I'll recommend you.. Always stand proud! Never be ashamed, be confident in wearing your clothes, coz like elders say: it's not from your clothes it's from how you bring your clothes! Then don't put really dark make-up it'll make you look old, try some earth colors, and put some accessories, and your ready to go! Just always remember to have FUN! that's the only thing that'll make you prettier! Trust me!

well, you could always add a pin, but that can ruin the dress. you might want to go for a different approach. try either bold accessories- big diamonds in necklaces and earrings are a fun, but elegant way to go. the diamonds, of course, don't need to be real. an elegant updo will add to the great look. i'm assuming your dress is long, but if you see some shoe you could always do something fun like that. remember though, LESS IS MORE!!!

that is a real, diamond necklace, so obviously you don't need to go that expensive, but that kind of look gives your outfit something special, yet still is classic. you may want to try claires or dillards for some great accessories. add some classic drop diamond earrings, and you are ready to go! =)

I love plain dresses cuz of the cool accessories you can use..but be very careful tho...the wrong choices can distroy the whole outfit...if i were you,i'd get some fun-colored shoes and a head-band in the same tone..something eye-catching..if u have those u dont need earrings or necklaces too

Plain is best-you don't want to be over shadowed by a fussy dress-make sure you have cute hair and SMILE! That is all you need! Head high-you will be the belle of the ball!

You could ruin your dress. it really depends what style it is though, like you could attach a ribben round the middle of it. all dresses look nice with sexy shoes, necklace and earings. Your hair plays a really big part of your dress, maybe down curly or up, add shiney clips to your hair.

i wore my prom dress to homecoming and my friend wore the same dress, it ticked me off but i ended up looking better b/c i dressed it up.
funky cool earings, and if you have a classy dress try some long beads, nothing too martigra though b/c that looks trashy.
i had black beads that looked like they would have been pearls but they were fuzzy. It was quite simple to create my outfit, i didn't even have to buy extra jewlery b/c i already had it..........needless to say CLAIRS JEWLERY cheap and full of accessories

i respect the gown in my opinion. because you stated that the gown is pink you may positioned on bracelets the hues of yellow, orange, black and in case you opt for to go loopy with pops of hues, I propose some thing that contrasts with pink like a medium blue. And bracelet length i imagine both skinny silver bracelets or chunky colored bracelets! and doubtless a layered necklace? satisfied prom!!

its not all about the dress just fix your hair and get nice high heel shoes to go with it and maybe put flowers in your hair
then when you look in the mirror you'll be amazed!

Add some sequins or glitter to it with hot glue or the iron on tape. Just a little would do it.

Use accessories that will enhance maybe your eyes or something. Or your hair.
For instance: If you have green eyes, use green accessories to go with that. If you have brown hair, use neutral accessories, but turquoise is also good for brown hair.
