My son wakes up and says he wet his bed, but his bed isn't wet, and there is about a two inch in diameter wet spot on his underwear. He is only 4 years old. What is it?

I have an 8 year old son and a 3 year old son ready to turn 4. I can tell you that a 4 year older is waaaayyyyyy to young to have a wet dream. I would guess that he is urinating a little in his sleep.

Wet dreams don't usually come untill a child is at least 11-12 years old.

yes he is too young for wet dreams, but not too young to dream and have erections. He would not dream about sex, it would be something else..like maybe a bath, or swimming or just excited about something..whatever a 4 year old may get excited about. It could be that he is dreaming he is in the bathroom and needing to pee, but once he starts..it wakes him up. I certainly wouldnt worry about this, its a good thing its waking him up. Just change his undies and move on when it happens. If he is complaining of burning, pain or whatever than you should get it check by a doctor. Good luck.

take him to a doctor for checking if he has a problem or no because some young children have precautionary puberty at early ages that doctors delay.
The best thing is to take him to a pediatrician.

As soon as A realizes what a woman and a man is, the child subconsiously fantasizes about them(man or woman) to be exact: His mother.
