the things is in the news article they said it was lewd behavior to a child and then a HUGE list of other things that he has done.............
I think each person he has caused harm to should get a % of the money and he can keep the rest..we all know that the idiot is gonna spend it real quick and be back in the dregs he was before.
whilst i think what he has done is DISGUSTING and in no way support him I think if ALL the money is taken from him then it starts a very slippery precedent..........who would next be on the list of IF you win you wont get it.
Regards

"lewd and lascivious or indecent assault upon a child" --
I know that sex offenders may be terrible people, but you don't know what this guy's crime was. He gets the broad label "sex offender" (which can be anything from forcible rape of a 3 year old to grabbing a girl's boob to being 19 and getting oral sex from a willing 15 year old) and you call him scum.
I'm not defending the guy for what he did, but don't lump him up into the "scum of the earth" just because he has one sex offense on his record. And don't say that his lottery winnings, which he won fair and square, should be taken away from him. If his victim can, she can certainly initiate a civil suit (if within the statute of limitations) and seek compensatory damages, now that he's got money to pay. And if he has past restitution or fines, those certainly should be paid. But he has paid his debt, and presuming that he has complied with the registration laws and any residency and probation requirements, has a right to the pursuit of happiness like we all do. And that includes playing the lottery and winning.
Have you ever done anything against the law? Ever smoke pot? What if someone said "well, lottery winnings should be forfietted because you'll just use that to buy illegal drugs. Why should we fund that activity when we KNOW that's what you'll do."

I think the fact that he's a convicted sex offender has absolutely nothing to do with his winning the lottery. He bought a ticket, he won, so the money's his. Nothing illegal about that at all, and as much as you may not like it, he's entitled to the money.
His victims, however, are entitled to recompensation for what he did to them, and if they want to file suit against him and get some of the money, that's their business.
But you have to ask yourself: would they sue him if he did NOT win the lottery? If not, why not? Because he didn't have the money, right? But now that he has it, the lawsuits will begin to fly.....
Sounds to me like someone's after money instead of justice, and to me that's not right.

one aspect human beings do not comprehend is that lots of those who win the lottery pass broke after some years and characteristic more suitable debt than they began with. yet another aspect is, having funds isn't unavoidably a blessing. each of the themes and themes that you had nonetheless proceed to be. in reality having numerous funds can accentuate lots of the themes and complications that you've. So let karma run that's course and be satisfied about what you've.

I think they should snatch the money away from him. This is sickening, how could this be happening. It's like we are rewarding sex offenders. Omg, I don't know what to say about this......

Take half of it to pay his victims. He bought the ticket, he won. Now pay his victims for the harm he caused.

all the people that were attacked by him should sue for all the money. tie it up so he can not get any to start with, and then have the courts divid it up between all of them.
