Houston has two "Chinatown" regions, but the real defined one is in the Bellaire and the Beltway area. The street signs are in Mandarin, too. The western "border" is Wilcrest and it goes east to Fondren. Nearly all of the businesses are on Bellaire, but some have migrated north to around the Westpark Tollway. I'm familiar with the area, having lived nearby in the 90s and also having my bride's engagement ring made there.

The "old" Chinatown in the downtown area faded when they built the George R. Brown center and all the adjacent parking and greenery. You still see somewhat of a concentration on the south side of downtown, but a lot of those businesses are boarding up.

Hang on, let me find you a map of Chinatown. I saw one (text) in a shop when I was down there last year. I'm sure there's one on the web.

Here it is:

I just tried it and it zooms in and out with the right mouse button.

P.S. The area is also known as Little Saigon by many for the concentration of Vietnamese nearby. Great groceries and good restaurants too.
