Flight of the Navigator
The parents could be Rainn Wilson and Claire Forlani
The boy could be the current child star of the hour (not sure who that would be).

The voice of the space ship "Max" could still be Paul Ruebens.

It could be shot in modern-day Houston near NASA and use all the latest computer graphics for the ship animation.

Guess who's comming to dinner.
The Lead would be played by Jamie Foxx as he is a very centralised black man. The lead woman would be Kate Winslet since she is all so prim proper.
It will be in the now Times where Jamie would be an up comming Rap artist and Kate just from a very cultured English family will shock her parents with this very interestin young black man. Unlike the original it will have more comedy in it too. How about we set it up in the back drop of the very cultured London where the two love bird meet and fall in love.

I think this is some award winning stuff!!!! hahaha Just kidding

Sir, I would never remake a classic film. If they are considered classics, they were obviously made right the first time. I would choose to remake a bad movie so that I could improve on it.
