I think love should come after friendship and not before friendship because after friendship means you given enough time for you both to understand each other and there is a better chance of this relationship to go somewhere rather than doing it before friendship. If you do it before friendship then you don't know what to expect and you're not quite prepared how to act around the other person. So, in my opinion I would say love should come after friendship.

It depends on the person, but I can tell you this from experience, after years together you become best friends, lovers, and the most important person in your life. I had my best friend for 43 1/2 yrs before cancer took him away.And I'll never find another friend like that.

i can say after friendship. coz while being friends, you will build a relationship and it will grows for a time, and if you both have this good feeling with each other, your friendship may turn into a mutual feeling and eventually you will find each other in love.

Love is not planned, it happens. It could happen with a stranger or a friend.......... thats not an issue. If it happens with a friend, obviously friendship precedes love. If it happens with a stanger, then friendship must follow............... In the longer run, if lovers are also friends............... could there be a better scenario !!!!!

One cannot exist without the other...you have to be able to be friends with the person, if you cannot you cannot love them and if you fall in love with a friend it's great.
