I can't think of the name of the movie but it starred Robbie Benson and was from the song about jumping of the Tallahassee bridge. Can't remember the name of the song either. Something about the day Bobby Jo McCallister jumped off the Tallahassee Bridge. Maybe someone else knows what I am talking about. I know for a fact the movie was at the time the only movie ever made from a song.

I don't think there are any movies based on a song, however there are movies (mainly older ones) that are known for their songs. For example "The Sound Of Music".
