Yes...my parents ticked me off some times when I was growing up and even after became an adult but now that i am adult, i see that I was not such a great daughter at times either. My mom is now deceased and I miss her so much. Now that i have kids, i appreciate her and why she she certain things etc a whole lot more. i would give anything to have one more day with her. My dad is still alive but lives far away and he is not very healthy either. No matter how your parents tick you off, they are still yo parents. Unless they were abusive, they are likely not as bad as you think.Embrace every moment yo have with them. You never know when you might run out of chances to give your mom a hug or tell your dad you love him. Once they are gone...its too late.

What a sad question for anyone to ask, I'm sorry for you. Have you ever stopped to consider that perhaps it may be "you" who upsets them and not the other way around?

I don't know how old you are, but I'm guessing from your question that you must be young and immature. Anyone older with more "life experience" wouldn't ask something like that. They would realize that your parents love you and are only trying to protect you.

It's not easy raising children into healthy, happy and well-adjusted adults. It takes a lot of work, sacrifice and love. Before you get angry at them, why don't you take a moment and try to see where they're coming from?

You probably won't appreciate your parents until you are older and wiser. It's easy to blame them for everything when you're young. Who will you blame when they are no longer here?

Be thankful that you still have them, some of us aren't that fortunate.

Yes I'm sure as a kid they upset you but let me tell you as you grow up you thank God everyday they cared enough to get on your case and taught you to respect others. And when they are gone, you wish they would come back and pss you off just one more time. So let them know how much you love and respect them while you can.

I've never gotten along with parents...My dad isn't my biological father and I've always felt distant from him because of that fact...not to mention he left when I was 6. And while my mom and I can tolerate each other now, she used to physically abuse me so there's still resentment. Also, she's very negative and not involved enough with how I feel or how my life is going and my dad is TOO involved. He's convinced I'm daddy's little girl and only leaves me alone to bug my sister lol.

No because when I was 8 I was responsible, respectful, and was nice. They let me do whatever I wanted because they trusted me and I valued how they trusted me and never did anything wrong.

So you are probably mad because you didn't get your way. You probably aren't old enough to drive because if you were, you'd be responsible for your car, insurance, gas, and everything. Plus if you had a job, they'd see you as more responsible and wouldn't piss you off because they knew you were doing something with your life.

My parents never piss me off. If you treat your parents with respect, they will do the same.

When I was young, my parents used to piss me off all the time. At 35, they can piss me off anytime they want to and that's OK. I've put them through a great deal, and I would be lost without them. What they have done for me and how much they have supported me through the trials of my life is beyond the call of duty, so they have earned plenty of room to piss me off.

I don't "hate" anything about them. Sometimes they do annoying things, but when you're a big boy/girl and understand life a little better, you will learn to appreciate them more.
