one of the best action adventure games is HALO 2.
You could also try DOOM 3 if you have a good graphic card.
Since you like max payne, you could also go for max payne 2.
If you want hours and hours of game playing, you could go for GTA san andreas and GODFATHER
In fact, i recommend other rockstar game productions too.
