Porn wasn't "discovered", it has been around since the history of mankind. One of the oldest books in the world, the Kama Sutra, depicts sexual techniques but it has been considered "pornography" by some cultures.
"Pornography" is a generalized term and is defined by the society, not the images/writing themselves.
