Can anybody tell me anything about carbon fiber reinforcer for bowed basement walls?

do these things really work?

you could cut & glue & nail plywood gussets ( 3/4" x 3 1/2 x 8" ) to be glued & nailed to the side of a 2 x 4 stud, to prevent further bowing ( ply wood won't bend well on edge )


has to be much much cheaper than anything that has to do with carbon fiber
