All you have to do is go to a local beauty store such as Sally's beauty supply. Buy a bottle of acetone and one of those wooden cuticle pushers. Soak you nails for about 1-2 hours and then use the wooden cutile pusher to scrape it off. It will be very soft and remove easily. I usually watch a movie while i soak and when it is over your ready to remove.

you can do it yourself for free, just put nail varnish remover in a small bowl, then place this bowl in a bigger one filled with a little bit of hot water. place one hand in there so it only covers your nails, not the whole hand. Soak it for a min, or until you'll see that the acrylic is becoming soft. Start removing it with a peace of cloth that you won't need again, don't rush it. It takes time.
If the water becomes cold, replace it again with hot water. Carry on till all the nails on one hand are removed.
Then do the same thing with the other hand best of luck.
In salons it usually costs between £10-20.
Best of luck.

Acetone doesn't always work guys lol I soaked my acrylics in acetone for 3 hours and I couldn't get them off. My mom finally begged me to go get the removed and she would pay.
It costed about $5, before the tip. You might want to call and ask around at the salons thats what I did :] Good luck! Haha acrylic nails are such a pain in the neck ><

It costs nearly the same as having them out on!! its a rip off!!!
You can take them off yourself quite easily though without paying such a high price. There is a product 'acertone' i dont think thats the right spelling but say it as it looks!! you can get it from boots just soak your nails in that and the acrylic will just peel away.. ! good luck!

Years ago when I had them, I get fed up with them because I bent one back and it tore may real nail up off the nailbed halfway down. So I sat myself down with a pair of clippers and went to town. It worked (I think clipping them helped to lift the fake ones off the nailbed allowing me to pull them off). Warning though...if you've had the acrylic nails on for a good period of time, your real nail underneath is going to be very thin and not the healthiest for a while, but there are plenty of different things you can buy to apply to them to strengthen them.

boots and some other stores do a nail polish remover called get em off, this removes any kind of arcrylic nails. I have used it before, you just soak your hands in the bowl and the nails just melt away.

I just had mine removed recently and it cost the same as a regular mani, because I wanted them manicured afterward since they always look a little ragged and they're so thin.
