The story about women in the military and how they are abused included Amorita Randall . One small problem she was never in Iraq.

Yet the damage is already done. They printed and put it out there.

Now do a search on all the News web sites. I did CBS, NBC, ABC, & Fox and only 1 carried the story about NY Times mistake guess who?

Fox.

Now I look forward the defense of NY Times and the normal faux news comments. Hopefully there is 1 liberal can see the liberal media bias in this case.

This is only the latest in a VERY long list of false news reporting from Time. When they ever get caught doing this they hide their retraction or correction waaaay back in the paper or try to blame someone other than themselves. Brent Bozell even has a newsletter citing their near-daily screw-ups. But, I'm not what you would call liberal, so I'm probably wrong.

I'm not familiar with this story, but your headline says Randall wasn't in Iraq, not that she wasn't in the military.

If you are indeed researching the NY Times you'll find that overall they have a pretty solid reputation. Mistakes happen, and hopefully if they've blundered they'll also present that information as it becomes part of the story.

Who carried the story about the mistake? Fox? And not sure they want to be going that route (they being the broadcast media) as they make far more blunders than the print media.

Yes, the NY Times should be believed.

Readers dissatisfied with a response or concerned about the paper's journalistic integrity may reach the public editor, Byron Calame, at public@nytimes.com or (212) 556-7652.

No, they should not be believed. Nor should any of the media. Fox is the closest I've seen to Fair & Balanced, but since they claim that, they may also have a slant. Also hard to ignore is that pretty much everyone who is NOT Fox News has a different opinion than Fox News. Is everyone else slanted the other way??? That seems a little 'conspiracy theory' to me...
It's hard to decide just who to believe these days, so I watch & read everything with a grain of salt & try to make up my own mind.

No, and prior scandels have proven it. From phon stories to extremely slanted reporting. It's so obvious now, that the front page should be re-named the New York Fiction

Absolutely NOT!

They are NOT a "news"paper. They are a largely left biased opinion piece that they try to spin as news.
