"what if's" are not a basis for a lawsuit.
What will determine if you have a case are damages. Additionally, the case would depend on what you were told at the first hospital. I have worked in ER's long enough to know that a patient in need of emergent surgery is not going to be discharged, and I also know that many times patients who realize that they are not covered will elect to go to another facility or leave "AMA" (against medical advice) in preference for being treated at a facility where they will not incur a bill because of insurance.
If you feel you have a case then I would recommend that you talk to an attorney in your area and have your records reviewed.

Ask for a actual, quite than only the diabetes try. possibly that is a few thing else fullyyt, and getting a blood attempt to envision all of your ranges can be a superior theory, possibly you're low in some food. And for goodness sakes, if ingesting sugar seems to reason a reaction, steer away from sugary ingredients, choosing lengthy burning proteins quite, swap from white bread to complete wheat. steer away from juice or soda, and attempt unsweetened teas, water, and milk. you also may upload cinnamon on your cereal, or espresso, it certainly helps the body manage sugar, and could "sweeten" issues slightly. If those easy variations help, you may look into the e book Sugar Busters, from the library, or a South coastline foodstuff plan e book - that could actually help you chop back your carb intake. also, how a lot are you ingesting? 4 glasses of water? 8? possibly it form of sounds like extra, because you're extra lively, and the elements is warming up.

Did you get operated on in the long run? Was the hospital a private hospital that only accepts patients in the network? If you want to sue or have doubts that you should've sued then call a lawyer. They can review the case and let you know if it's worth pursuing or not.

As a general rule if a person goes to a emergency room & needs medical help, if the hospital receives government money in any form they are to give aid to that person.
You should sue both the hospital & the doctor.

Call an attorney, one that specializes in malpractice - they will give you the best answers. If you do not know a malpractice attorney, call your local bar association. They can refer you to a specialist. Good Luck, and I'm glad you are okay now.

If you didn't suffer any permanent damage, you most likely don't have a case. You should definitely file a formal complaint with the CEO of that hospital.
