incident on our part in order to invade Iran. Does anyone else feel this way? Could it be true or is she simply looking for yet another way to bash the Bush administration? What do you think and if you could, please support your arguement with fact and links to other sites. Thank you in advance for you time this morning.

I personally have no interest in the View, but felt compelld to watch when I heard of her rants...she simply looks and acts and speaks like the uneducated portion of America that our society should try to help. God, I hope she gets the attention (medically that is) that she deserves!
And THANK YOU ALL for your witty and wonderful responses!

I think she's dead wrong, and that her comments are ignorant and disgraceful.
What I'm curious about is why on Earth IRAN is working so hard to force a confrontation! Maybe THEY are the ones who have to manufacture a threat to shore up support with the people of their country in order to stay in power, not Bush. But we're all so busy attacking Bush that we're not even trying to figure out what Iran is doing.
Rosie is part of a small but vocal group of people who think that ANY external threat is manufactured by Bush, and is not real. Some even say Bush was behind 9/11! If that's the case, then NO attack needs to be responded to by US force. God forbid that NY or DC is nuked - is there any doubt that some people would blame Bush, either for "provoking" our enemies or for doing it himself?
As long as Bush is president, he is WRONG in their eyes and any other country, no matter how hostile to the US, is not as bad. This serves two purposes: it fuels the Bush hatred, and it allows people to DENY that we face serious threats that need to be addressed. If Bush is the cause of EVERY problem, then all that's needed is impeachment or an election and we can all go back to the 90s, when we didn't think there were any outside threats or reasons to fight. It's not realistic.
Rosie has every right to say what she wants, and the show is garnering attention and ratings. Good for them - they are good capitalists!
But Barbara Walters used to have a reputation as a good journalist. This show, and Rosie, put her at or below the "Geraldo" category for schlock television. Shame on you, Barbara.
Whew! Glad I got that off my chest!
PS People like Rosie do Bush a favor - all the attention goes to their STUPID comments, and meanwhile the LEGITIMATE criticisms of Bush don't get discussed!

Rosie is actually a very typical leftist liberal...similar to many we see right here on this site.
Loud, brash and incredibly ill-informed.
Rosie has yet to run into a FACT that she did not immedietly ignore in favor of a complete fabrication if it makes the USA (and most importantly, GW Bush,) look bad.
It is sad that an uncouth ignoramus like O'Donnel is given a platform to pontificate to such a massive audience without any voice of truth or sanity on the same show to counter her mindless rantings.
Like most radical libs, Rosie has apparently shut down any speech that contradicts her extremist anti-Bush rhetoric.
Ms O'Donnel is a sad. hate-filled miscreant whose anger and disappointment over the fact that her parents detested her (perhaps because she is a hideously unattractive, foul-mouthed, uncouth, uneducated lesbian with a personality disorder - you be the judge), is acted out in hate-speech against her own country and president.
She should be treated like an unsightly growth on someones face when you meet them in the street...just pretend it isn't there.

If she did, is she not smart enough to realize that England already has troops over there and will be making any rescue mission that would take place? She obviously has an ax to grind with President Bush. I happened to catch 5 minutes of the show the other day and she is really a loose cannon firing in all directions at the same time. She really needs professional help.

Personally I think Rosie delights in being the center of attention and does not care whether that attention is positive or negative in nature. The Iranians have not denied capturing, nor are they denying holding the British sailors and marines. I think this alone blows a giant hole in her theory. The link below is just one I pulled at random on the event which is current. As I said if Iran was not holding these personnel they would be denying it completely, not giving updates on their condition.

I wouldn't believe much you hear from Rosie O'Donnell she is turning into the lefts version of Rush Limbaugh. Neither can be trusted to say anything without a bias twist.
Rosie and Limbaugh facing off in the octagon, that would be the only time they would be worth watching.

That's absolute horse manure. Rosie O'Donnell is a militant liberal who believes that the end justifies the means. I honestly don't believe that SHE believes that garbage. The bottom line is, the Bush administration does not "stage" what the Iranian Foreign Minsiter says or does. When he says that the sailors were "caught" violating Iranian waters, he is admitting that they seized them.

Rosie O'Donnell is a talk show host, nothing more, nothing less. Like most public figures, she uses whatever medium available to her to express her views. She is not representative of any political ideology, her views reflect on her beliefs, no one elses. Furthermore, I don't agree with her, but she, like every other American, enjoys the right of free speech.

Fat cheeks Rosie is nothing but a talk show host or part of one to say the least. Who cares what she says? First of all I don't think anyone would put themselves at harms way by going into another country's waters but would say that it was not smart getting to close either.

There is no doubt that she is no fan of W, but she also gets paid to say outragous things. This way she can keep her name in the paper and keep people watching the show to see what she will say next. Her little feud with Trump seems to be over so now she has to make ratings some other way.

I think Rosie O'Donnell is a publicity seeking crackpot who will say anything for attention. I disregard anything she has to say because she cannot be trusted to speak the truth. I have to go to work so I don't have time to reference all of the idiotic things that she has said in the past.
