Falling is easy and doesn't really mean that you love the person. Loving someone is different; it means that you have gone beyond the fascination and infatuation stages. One is easy, the other can kill you.

When you fall in love with someone, you are begining to picture your life with them. You want to ave them around forever. But there is still the chance that they can disprupt those feelings and you will stop falling for them.
If you love someone, you always love them. Your husband, wife, children, parents are people that no matter what (even after divorce) you always love at least on some level. No matter how bad they screw up.

Falling in love is instant and overwhelming and intense.Someone that is out of your reach, because of circumstance.
"Now" Loving someone., is very real and in some cases can be very Spiritual and Human.also beautiful
Love is a word that can be Painful and Joyous.
One has to know the difference without hurting the person.
I cannot stress enough when you use the word"Love, that you have some real meaning behind it.
We humans have a very bad habit of saying " I Love you" BUT
do not mean it in a way the person thinks. (particularly in a sexual manner etc)
If your unsure of your feelings towards another, don't use it but to say I do"like"you.
Do not let your"HEART" rule your head. It can and will break .

People can love someone without falling in love with the person. "Falling in love", in my opinion, implies erotic love while "loving someone" can be unconditional or platonic.

"Falling in love" is your subconscious telling you that the person in question is someone you want to go sex up now.
"Loving" someone is your subconscious realising someone is useful to you... and thus encouraging you to favour them that they may favour you in return and make your life easier.
THAT... is the Biological truth of the matter.
I expect most other answers will be the rhetorical social mumbo jumbo.

falling in love is the first realization of love......the first time someone thinks they are in love with someone...it could also be based upon lust. loving someone is having the true feelings and is continuous and could be indefinite......well should be indefinite.

falling in love, it doesn't mean that you really love, you're just falling you're not in it.
Loving someone is you already fell for that love, you are in that love, you are with that object of love.
