Any teacher training book should have a chapter on this and that will give you the content. The links below will also give you content.
I suppose the fun would come from making drawings where people pick out the hazards, multiple choice questions, walking around the establishment looking for hazards, brainstorming what to do in case of an earthquake or when faced with a maniac with a gun, how slowly can you evacuate the place in case of fire, what drinks not to aloow in classrooms, how to hang a student with a trailing flex, how to get disabled people out of the tenth floor of a building on fire, list the ten most toxic fumes you can create in the chemistry lab, how to lose kids on educational trips to a coal mine ...

When you have finished the project, publish it online and we can all share the fun.

Oh good lord! How about, 'don't let them run riot with scissors'? I can't believe that we live in such a nanny state that teachers require a booklet advising them of how to manage health and safety in class....

First, find a kid with special educational needs...call him a 'elf 'n safety hazard..make him do his work in the corridor so all the other kids can have a good laugh at him.
This DOES happen..it happened to my grandson..
I believe the headmaster of the school is on the verge of getting his butt kicked..BIG TIME.
I will be very surprised if he either does not resign or is not sacked.

there is a website www.technnologystudent.com go to the health and safety section and have a look it may give you some good ideas. remember adults are usually bigger kids than pupils so a bit of humour never goes wrong.

Schools in my area are playing Survivor with weight loss. I'm sure you can find info about it online. That might be fun.

You could also include relative examples for teachers that are humorous (Brian just sneezed all over his hand before giving you his math test- what do you do? WHAT DO YOU?).

have fun pictures on things like:

dont run with scissors
dont swing back on chairs
dont sit on tables

it really depends on what age group the teacher has in her/his class
