yea, it came out in 2001 or 2002. it was the last american recording album to come out while j.r. cash was still alive. it was American vol IV - the man comes around. mixes of mostly covers and a few originals that johnny or june wrote. rick rubin, the great hip hop producer worked with johnny on all these albums. last fall, american V can out. it was called "A hundred highways". great cut from that one is "god's gonna cut you down". read johnny's last autobiography, where he talks about working with rick and getting him back in the spotlight as a folk legend. until then, his American recordings, he was pretty much viewed as a washed up country singer. All 5 of those albums are great. since johnny's death, rick also released a box set of 3 more discs of music that wasn't relased on any of the previous american records. enjoy.

The penultimate in the American Recordings series produced by Rick Rubin , called The Man Comes Around . All 5 in the series are highly recommended , being mixtures of covers and original , particularly interesting on this album is the Sting cover , "I Hung My Head"
Listen to Hurt here

I'm certain it was part of American IV. I hear American VI is due out probably by mid-year.
