Which sentence is the possessive used correctly?

2. Their's is the first bus to arrive at school every morning.
3. The childrens' activity period lasts 15 minutes.
4. Carl's and Sara's schoolbooks are on the kitchen table.

In 1, "boys" is an adj describing the type of basketball team and so is not a possessive noun.

In 2, the apostrophe is in the wrong place... would come after the s.

In 3, the children jointly share the activity period but should be "apostrophe s".

#4 is. The rest are wrong. It drives me crazy that people don't understand posessive forms and contractions.
