Are you keeping the baby? Most of the kids will probably be "weirded" out. The father I'm assuming will probably be treated the same because he's not the one carrying the child. I'm glad you've learned your lesson. And in the same sense you are teaching all the girls at your school the lesson as well. I hope all goes well for you. If things get to bad, remember, you can talk to your guidance counselor, parents, OB, etc...Good luck to you.

well, not many people these days will shun their family members, or lovers, or even your school. there are some schools that will make you drop out, or will kick you out after a few months of pregnancy and will not give you the chance at an education. im not sure about the father, but just stay strong and dont let what your family and class mates say to or about you put you down.. you should be thinking aboutt he bayb and whats best for the baby and you as the mother.

I am sure that you will get many reactions to your pregnancy. Hopefully, most of the reactions will be positive and supportive.
However, there will be a few knuckleheads who will shun you and laugh at you and whisper mean things about you behind your back.
Conversely, your boyfriend may not have to go through all of the teasing that you will have to endure because not everyone will know that he is going to be a father unless he tells them, he has no outward signs of his impending parenthood as you do.
Also, the attitude about sexually active boys is different than the attitude about sexually active girls. The boys are looked at as players and studs, but the girls are looked at as promiscuous sl*#s
You are a strong and brave young woman for enduring the teasing and you are very smart for deciding not to drop out of school. I wish you the best of luck and much success.

Looks like you're going to begin your teen years being a mommy.....no more hanging out with friends, no school dances, less sleep time, trying to do homework while your baby screams, no more sleeping in, your friends will ditch you cause you're too tired or dont have the time to socialize with them.....

What are you gonna do after the baby's born? Keep on having sex and get pregnant again? Or get on Depo Shot birth control?? How old is the father anyways? Does his parents know?

I don't think you'll be shunned by anybody except the father.

You will get dirty looks, whispers, rumors, all that sort of stuff. But just show them that you don't care what they think. Don't be rude, but when you hear them whispering, give them a chilling glare and keep on walking. No matter what, keep your head high. I know that it's hard to keep on going, but have courage and at least appear secure and in control of everything.

Good luck, honey.
