Moose: you WILL see a moose. In the winter they are everywhere in Anchorage and easily spotted. In the summer, fewer are in Anchorage, but still seem commonly.
Bears: on the edges of town possibly. They are spotted rummaging through dumpsters and garbage cans. They can also be seen from the many hiking trails that originate in Anchorage.
Eagles: There are several eagles that live in Anchorage with nests in plain view of highly travelled roads.
Sitka Black tailed deer: Just the other day, there was an article talking about how deer are starting to come into Anchorage. I haven't seen one yet!
Birds: I am not a bird lover, but many migratory birds stop off in Anchorage during the summer on their way farther north.
Salmon: Several great salmon viewing locations in town and just outside. You can see all types of salmon King (chinook), Silver (coho), Red (sockeye), Pink (Humpy) and Dog or chum salmon. If you want to catch, all you need is a license!
Lynx: I've only seen a lynx in the wild once, and it was in the winter.
Hope that helps!

Black Bears in Anchorage on occasion, you see them more towards Eagle River, just north of Anchorage. You will also hear about grizzlies in Eagle River, more along the river itself; as well as Wolves, and of course Bald Eagles.
The Hillside of Anchorage is noted for both Black and Grizzly Bears, but rarely in town itself, too much traffic.
Moose on the other hand come right into downtown. I was in town yesterday (Monday), and saw a moose browsing in downtown.
Of course you could go to the Alaska Zoo... We have a host of critters from Alaska to see.

You can see moose occassionaly but bears probably not likely unless you are close to the Chugach Mountains. You can see some bald eagles if you are going south on the Seward Highway. Well, what i'm trying to say is that Anchorage is a bad choice for animal watching. So I suggest goign out of the town if you are visiting and expecting to exciting animals.

Moose are around there. You see them pretty often. Not so many bears. there are plenty of bald eagles, up around Eagle River. There's a zoo there, too.
