We do this same thing in my family every year for easter. We have had lots of good ideas. There were angles and even little old ladies with a cotton ball for hair and a crocheted doily for a shawl. I made a fish last year from different colored sequins and used foam paper for the fins and lips and eyes. we had an "egg plant", coloerd purple and put in a small terra cotta pot with some silk foliage. I also made a "nude sunbather" but that one might not be suitable for this crowd. We have so much fun with them every year. We even had a disco one with a hot pink leisure suit and a gold medallion necklace, I used halloween spiderweb for the hair and colored it with a sharpie for an AFRO. Just make sure you drain the egg first or hard boil it.

Did ours yesterday! Lack or inspiration led us to a chick and princess this year. Last year (and a saw an imitation of it this year and wished I'd copyrighted it!) we did a bee in a flower.
So make the egg yellow. Use dye, paint, or we glued (little bits of yellow tissue paper on it until it was yellow enough. Then colour or stick on his stripes. Then his wings and antennae and eyes. Ours had paper legs too.
Then cover or paint a toilet roll green. Use cut coloured tissues or tissue paper into a flower shape. We stuck a pipe cleaner through the middle of them and down the tube to attach the "petals" then the "bee" can balance on top.
Or get a dozen eggs. Keep the box too. Boil 9 of them. Get her to stick wool hair on them all and draw in their faces. Do as much "body" decoration as she can manage. Perhaps give one a hat and put them all back in bottom part of the carton and make her an "egg people bus" With the driver up front and the kids in their rows behind.
Have fun and don;t drop them on the way to school.

Dye it yellow and stand it on the fat end. Make wings out of construction paper and an orange bill for a duck.Lay it on the side and attach 4 wheels that you design out of heavy paper, to the sides. Decorate with colored pens to look like Cinderella's coach. If you go to Hershey's web site you can see how to make the mice out of their Kisses. Design it to look like a bird house and attach a Small bird. Get a pretty floral napkin and decoupage it on the egg.

It depends on her age doesn`t it ? If she`s very young i would go for someone like dora the explorer - someone like that - who all the kids know and recognise ( easy to copy as well ) If she`s older, then a tv character all the other kids in her age group will recognise will be great - and a picture out of a magazine like tv times to copy from would help a lot.

Try making a rabbit, using a q-tip , cotton for the tail, and a bit of construction paper for the ears,
Or make one of Santa Claus again using cotton for the face. Theres all types of things you can make out of an hard boiled egg.
A pig, using small pieces of card board for the legs, and to stand it up, a small cut into half, bread twister for the tail, ect..
