I share your view regarding not being ready for a woman--Hillary or otherwise. As for being capable of running the country and gaining the respect of the others, SHE, in her own standing, will always have the respect of some. I don't feel she will ever gain the world respect a president of our country needs. She partake and waded through too much pulluted water through the years.

I think you're overlooking the fact that the British have had a Queen and a woman PM, India has had several woman PM's, and the current and prior French president were basically women. The world is indeed ready for an American woman president. So is the United States.
It just isn't going to be Hillary, because she's unfit to be leader of the playground sandbox, let alone have The Football.

Clinton can't even keep her filandering husband under control, let alone an entire country. She talks a lot (just like she did when her husband was president), but I don't think that anything worth a damn is going to get done if she ends up in office.
Will I vote for her? No.

I think the world is ready...but not the US. Americans are more likely to vote for a cheating husband (Guiliani) than a wife who was cheated upon. Women have been great leaders in other countries for years now, but the US is too concerned with the personal lives of its politicians to be able to see the strengths of a good leader.

The british had a strong woman leader 20 years ago.
Israel had one 30 years ago.
India had one 40 years ago.
If we had the right one, most of the world would notice her as a strong, effective, capable leader who happens to be a woman, not a woman who happens to be president. The countries who think that this makes a difference are mostly still stuck in the 14th century in other ways, too.
But please, PLEASE, let it not be Hillary Clinton!
