If you had a top to match the pants then yes, or a black top to go with the black tank top. It would match if you had shoes that matched the knitted top. Personally I'd go with just the pants and the tank top nothing else. Just my opinion though

Yes, they would clash, even more so since they are dress pants. Try wearing just black top with it or any other dark shade if you have, perhaps a dark blue or even violet..

Those will go together very well. Why not add a bright scarf tied around your middle as a belt. It will liven up the outfit!

NOOOO they won't.. all neutrals can be worn together.. in fact.. creams , off whites, other neutrals and khakis are all thrown together in spring 2007's runways.. soo.. just mix em up and you'll be trendy altogether!
