If one is working at the same office the answer would be "No." How silly would a company be to hire one back once he/she has been terminated. I have only known of one case where someone was re-hired after termination - that was because the person took the problem to the human rights commission.

If one is terminated from one company for a particular offence and then went to work for another company without disclosing the reason for termination from the first company, he could most assuredly be terminated again. The reason for termination, in this case would not necessarily be for the first offence but for non-disclosure of the offence.

I hope this answers your question.

I figured once you were terminated you were already gone....if you're already gone from a company how can you be terminated a 2nd time?

You could do the same thing at two different companies and get fired both times...I guess that's what you mean?

Yes. I have seen it happen even though I was not in support of re-hiring this person but because of his relationship with a top management staff, he was re-hired.I was not disappointed when he committed the same offense again.I bet there wont be a third chance for him.

OK.... they fire you for "X" offense. Then they rehire you. Then you commit "X" offense again. If that's the story........ You've got two problems;

A. You should be fired for doing the same thing wrong 2 times (especially after you know how serious it is).
B. They should have never hired you back if you have to ask questions like this!!!!!!!
