Simply put the pot out of reach of your nephew. But be sure to water it every other day so as to recover from disaster. But don't put it directly under the sun. Place it under a shady place. Sure enough, you will see how your green thumb works for you.

Yes, feed it, water it, and put it in the sun. And then give it time to grow. My son did the same thing with my mint.

mint is a very hardy plant.just treat it as you normaly would it will come back,unless the plant is old and root bound.
