I installed the sims2 on my pc yesterday, it took ages. I played the game all day but today when i start the game i am left with a black screen and a mouse pointer. I tried waiting for a few minutes but nothing? I tried a few times, sometimes it works, sometimes nothing. The game is fully installed and i have disk 1 in my cd drive, what could be wrong?
also how do i get from that back screen back to windows vista without having to restart my computer?

1. unplug pc.
2. gather up all pc parts,cords,etc.
3. toss all into nearest trashcan.
4. buy new pc.
Yours obviously is a hunk of crap. Also, play a real game...the sims is gay.

did you check the game requirments? the game may have a higher requirment than the computer is rated for! could you have programs running in the back ground? close all programs such as Yahoo messenger, aol messenger, etc!
