Trying to use self-clean feature on GE oven - error message "F2". What should I do?

It goes for about 15 minutes, till it is preheated, then it starts beeping and the "preheated" light starts blinking, but the "auto self-clean" and "oven on" lights are not on anymore. HELP!!! I really need to get this taken care of this morning!

I don't have the owners manual, so please don't tell me to look there

Try going to GE's website. Manufacturers often have a page of troubleshooting for their products much like you'd find in an owner's manual.

did you check inside the door there should be a lever you slide to clean cycle
