There's a free programme available called Handbrake that converts your videos to iPod if you have an Apple machine.
It would be helpful if you let us know:
a. whether you use Mac, PC, Linux, or whatever
b. what format your videos are in currently
Have a look at Softpedia as well - it's an online resource with plenty of free software for exactly this kind of purpose, all of it virus-free.

no software can help you... just read the amnual or anything related to your i pod that can tell that what formats of video your ipod is supported to.... so go and read it now..
another one is download the video in your pc and go to media player click transfer to a cd or device on the tabs and scroll to the upper portion and find the arrow which leads you to the tab labeled portable device.. and searh the video you likes to and click copy... your done.. BEST ANSwer BABES

If you're using a Mac (*spit*), then use Handbrake.
If you're using a PC, use Videora iPod Converter.
