Okay here goes...There is this guy at my university that I like. He'smart, charming and funny. Also very good looking And as you might have already sensed, there is a problem. He has a girlfriend.The thing that gets to me is the games he plays. Sometimes he makes every effort to sit next to me, even if I dont talk to him. When I am not in, the next day he is not in. But whenever I talk to him, he is so aloof! I wonder if the problem is me. I am a very carefree and independant person. I am always happily walking about and I always speak my mind. Whenever I speak to him, he always answers my questions but never talks more. Rather he waits for me to add more. Sometimes when he sees me, he walks in the other direction or looks scared. He only ever flirted with me before he had a girlfriend after that no flirting. But get this, he flirts with all the other girls and acts very lively with them. I have not given him any indication that I like him and I want to know why he acts like this.?

It sounds like he likes you but since he has a g/f he stays away. Maybe he doesn't trust himself to do the right thing when he is around you. Or, he is worried that other people can sense that ya'll like each other and his g/f will find out.
If you want this guy, I would play hard to get. He would have to break it off with her first and then pursue me.

he sounds like a player.... try to keep your distance and don't fall for his charming ways. but then, the more distant and unapproachable you are, the more of a challenge you will be... so he will turn the charms on even more for you until he's made the conquest.
just stay strong and see him for what he really is.... a player.
