what would the chances be of me being pregnant, i had sex February 1st, used a condom, and it was 2 days before my period ended?(it was my first and only time)

the next cycle i had was lighter and shorter than my normal cycle(march 3)...well since that day i had been paranoid of pregnancy, i felt guilty and realize i wasnt ready, well all month i worried and worried, so i was told my stress probably caused that, also i took a urine test at the docs and it came out negative the before i got that light and short period..

well now my next cycle is due to come around and ever since about 2 weeks ago ive been getting lower back pain and pain on my left lower abdomen and sometimes on my right side, pressure on my stomach, nausea sometimes and urinating alot, i dont know what to do can it be my nerves still going or what, im just so worried of becoming pregnant thats why i stopped having sex after that one time, i just hope it wasnt too late

Ana if the condom was properly used then you are not pregnant. Coupled with the Urine test it means that you are not pregnant at all. What you need to do is relax because the mind can play games with you especially when you are stressed. the back aches are probably early period signs. Give yourself time. You are not pregnant

Well #1 if you had sex 2 days before your period ended I highly doubt you would have been releasing an egg (ovulating) at that time. You usually ovulate 12-16 days after the first day of your period.

And #2 if you used the condom correctly this would bring the chances down even more.

And #3 If you had a period after your period in febuary (which was the month you had sex) that would bring even more doubt that you are pregnant.

You can buy a pregnancy test just to be sure but I personally HIGHLY doubt that you are pregnant. I don't think the timing would be right and with a condom to boot. So try not to worry so much. The more you stress over it the later your period will be for this month. Just get a test. If you want to continue to have sex maybe go to your doctor and start on a birth control and use condom's and a spermicide foam. With using all 3 you are HIGHLY unlikely to get pregnant. And with using condoms, spermicide foam, birth control pill's/patches you can also keep track of your period's and your fluids. You should ovulate 12-16 days after the first day of your period. Your cervical mucus will get very thin when you ovulate and your temperature will rise a point or so.

Good luck and try not to worry. I honestly HIGHLY doubt that you are pregnant by the story you gave.

Well, honey the symptoms that you are describing can be alot of things. But, first lets remember that you used a condom and you have had an urine test. So stop worrying about if you are pregnant or not-because from it sounds to me, that you are not pregnant.

However, the symptoms that you are experiencing can mean alot of different things. Stress for one can cause the body to do some strange things. Stress can make you sick. I am wondering though, you speak of nausea and abdomen pain on your left side and sometimes on your right. Does this happen like after you eat something or in the middle of the night? If this continues I would go back to the dr office and informed them of what is happening. It could be possible that you are suffering from a pancreas attack due to the stress that you are putting on your self or due to possible gallstones. Either way, I would see a doc if my symptoms don't improve.

Go back to the doc, something might be wrong. But if you worry yourself you will start having symptoms of whatever your worried about. It's a ming thing. You read the symptoms of pregnancy and you think your having them. If you stress out it will mess up your period. Just take a pregnany test. Go to the health dept, they have a privacy policy so no one can find out, they can't even tell your parents you were there without your consent.

Good Luck!

if any of these symptoms are abnormal for you before you get your period I would go to a doc again. I do not mean to scare you but I have heard that urinating a lot and obviously the nausea can be signs of pregnancy. I honestly do not know you are pregnant or not, esp. because you used a condom. Talk to a doc and/or take another pregnancy test.

I think the first thing you should do is have a pregnancy test, then you wouldn't have any of this worrying. Then, if you are pregnant, talk to a doctor. Getting all desperate and paranoid will not help anything.
