I dont know why people think that giving gifts is the best way to show love and appreciation. I would MUCH rather my husband be creative and thoughtful with everything he does for me. My husband treats me like a PRINCESS...in fact, he calls me princess. He takes care of me every single day, not just my birthday, valentine's day, anniversaries, christmas. We buy for each other ALL the time. So if you want her to remember you, then take care of her every single day!

A carriage ride to a secluded spot with a nice bottle of wine and flowers waiting for her.
Or you could literally be her knight on a white horse and "rescue" her. Take her away to the secluded area with wine and flowers by the beach, if possible.
