So if you saw my last question you would've seen some of the worst cameos in film - how about the best?

I quite like Sean Connery showing up right at the end of Robin Hood Prince of Thieves as King Richard....

Gene Hackman as the Blind Man in "Young Frankenstein". When he tries to serve soup to Peter Boyle, it still makes me howl.

"Wait. I was going to serve espresso!"

Man, I let that slip to a friend of mine when we went to see that Robin Hood version that I read where Connery did a cameo at the end. I STILL here about it. lol
I love the old cameo James Cagney did reprising his role as George M. Cohan in Bob Hope's The Seven Little Foys.
I liked Jim Lovell being the Captain onboard the aircraft carrier in Apollo 13 when they picked up the crew.
And every cameo in It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World - great movie

well i like cameos by the real people in their movies.

Apollo 13: mrs lovel is at the launch in front of the actress who plays her. Jim Lovel plays a captain in white suit at the end when people are congradulating them for making it back (you see him fromthe side talking to tom Hanks)

Rudy: the real rudy is standing behind the family at the end of the game. he's the one always cheering. blue suit lilte irish hat.

Glory Road: the gas station attendant towards the startof the movie is the guy Josh Lucas plays

Men of Honor (never found him): the real guy plays a night clun attendee

The Rookie (doesnt stand out in the story): Jimmy Morris plays a Orlando umpire.

Jim Garrison as Earl Warren (whose famous report Garrison attacked in real life) in JFK or Marcel Marceau in Silent Movie - a mime artist speaking the only dialogue in the film. I also liked Gregory Peck in the remake of Cape Fear - defending the psycho who harassed his character in the original.

In The Green Mile, when they have to execute the healer John Coffey and the young prison guard is crying his eyes out as he is being executed, all lightbulbs burst. Now, I never met a person, who wouldn`t cry watching that scene.Must be the most touching, ever.
