Wait. What is our 5th season? Spring, summer, fall, winter. Do we have a 5th one?

Yes!

In the tropics. If you want specifics. It is the area located within 0 to 5 degrees from the equator which you'll experience authentic tropical weather. We only experience either extreme sunshine or stormy weather. No specific seasons though. Although you can count the monsoon periods as the wet seasons.

Right now because of global warming. It's pouring madness with the regular hot and humid bout of sunshine. Though I live here, I find the humidity unbearable sometimes.

In Northern Australia the European blow ins divide life into the Wet (monsoon time) and the Dry. The long term locals identify 6 seasons.

I live in Hawaii, and I don't notice any change of the seasons besides at night the temperature drops a bit more drastically than usual in Nov-Feb. Other than that, it just rains... a lot.
