I know that forgiveness is right, but I remember that he hugged and tried to kiss me, I get very angry. I met him at the lobby of the courthouse. My lawyer was not there. I know he had been trying to call and ask forgiveness, but I changed my number. I can ask for some money from him so that I will get money, then back out from the case, making him scot free. He knows I am not interested in money. That must be making him nervous. He is a lawyer. If this case reaches the ears of particular people, he might get disbarred. I still do respect him. But how can I even talk to him? I feel angry and disgusted when I remember what he did

Tell him that until this case is through, no deal, no talking either. I think he's trying to make you feel bad or maje you drop the case or jeapordise your case somehow. Don't fall for it. He'll try anything, just ignore him.

Don't talk to him. I don't know all the details, but did you tell him to stop, that you didn't want his attentions, when he was doing those things to you? If you did and he still pursued you, I would not talk to him. If he sexually harassed you, chances are that you aren't the only one, and he might be trying to get you to drop the case. If you do drop it, he might harass you again or someone else. Maybe another victim might surface because of your courage.

Forgiveness is important, but that doesn't mean you have to forget.

Just talk to your lawyer. You still respect him, but did he respect you? Whatever you decide, good luck!
