Yes...Hong Kong IS more expensive. The question is the "standard" of living compared to where you are now. Call a realty company and find out what apartments are going for compared to what you have now.....it's a good indication of the difference.

Yes, Hong Kong has a higher standard of living than in Singapore. Each place is nice, though generally, people like Singapore because of the cleaner air and less congested living.

In most business surveys, Hong Kong is more expensive than Singapore. More and more surveys are saying that Hong Kong is pushing Tokyo aside as the most expensive.

so which you reside in China close to to Hong Kong and am thinking going to Singapore for my Christmas paying for until it particularly is extra high priced than Hong Kong.for conventional outfits, electronics & presents. For my suggestion, circulate to Hong Kong until you elect to for cultural stuff, like Sarong, Kabaya, Peranakan products as Singapore is extra no longer costly, yet for different issues circulate to Hong Kong as Hong Kong is closer to China, therefor you maintain transport value, provided which you would be able to get products that get you lower back your tax via making use of at tax refund, in the different case, Hong Kong is the suitable wager because it a unfastened harbor and nonetheless 0% VAT or GST for Singapore purely. My relative come right here to Singapore no longer for the paying for yet for the cultural itself. So thats what I advise and relax are as much as you my China buddy.
