Vertically because it won't fit horizontally, but I have to turn it round half way through to get the top part toasted.

I tried it horizontally just now, and spent 20 minutes plucking bread debris from the toaster, so I'll stick to vertical.

Not allowed a toaster 'cos I keep blowing them up!
But it seems natural to me to put the bread in vertically.
Now I want some toast; just popping out to put the grill on!

Vertically most of the time. Ever so often, I'll some some long bread like sourdough that won't fit vertically, but that doesn't happen too often.

while i grow to be 6 i placed it in horizontally and that i could no longer get it out. on the time i grow to be on no account instructed that sticking utensils in a toaster might ask your self me, so i attempted to ply it out utilising a knife and almost killed myself. i've got continually placed them in vertically ever for the reason that.

hey hippo :-) i put my bread in vertically when i had a toaster, but now since i got a toaster oven i put them in horizontally....
